Time of the Doctor

On Christmas we had to say goodbye to the Doctor's 11'th version of himself. It was a fantastic episode filled with many old enemies and even old companions (spoilers!).

In the episode we see many comical and tragic scenes, such as when Clara asks the Doctor to be her pretend boyfriend, and also as the Doctor regenerates.

We see enemies such as Daleks, Cybermen, the Silence, and even the Weeping Angels (good ol' Weepers). As for saying what companion you see, that I will not tell.

The thing we had waited to see and dreaded to see was the 12'th Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi. He comes in quickly enough to make some watching jump in there seats (i know i did!). His entrance is similar to Matt Smith's in that the first thing he says has to do with body parts. For example: 11- "Legs!" 12- "Kidneys!" Quite odd indeed, but enough to distract the crowd, at least for a second, the saddening regeneration. In my opinion, I do believe that Peter Capaldi will do an excellent job of portraying the Doctor, and that we are in for even greater adventures with this Doctor, coming in August.

If you have not seen this episode, I really recommend you see it as soon as possible. It is definitely one worth watching.
