New Companion???

A few weeks ago, it was announced that there would be a new character starring in Doctor Who:

Danny Pink-

Played by Samuel Anderson, Danny is said to be a fellow teacher with Clara.
What do you think? Frankly, I believe he will be a lot like Mickey Smith from Season 1 and 2. I have seen a lot of theories as to what he will be like:

-Spy for the Daleks
-Spy for Torchwood
-Spy for Ian Chesterton (of classic who)
-He is an alien
Does anybody trust this guy?

There are even more theories!

-He's another reincarnation of River Song
-He's not even a part of the plot
-He's not a companion

Obviously some very interesting thoughts on the new character.

I ask again, what is your opinion? Comment below with any thoughts you may have, even if they are outlandish (hey, that's what steven moffat is!)
