Doctor Who Season 1 Guide

This is  "The Whotastic Guide to Watching Doctor Who"!!  We will be going thru the modern seasons 1-7 with little fun facts and the best moments!  In hopes people who haven't yet watched the series will give it a try and that the old fans will re-watch.  Enjoy!

                                                               Season 1

Episode 1-- Rose:  After almost a nine year break the Doctor is back with a new look and is played by Christopher Eccleston.  The Doctor faces evil shop manikins and meets his new companion Rose (Bille Piper).
E2-- End Of The World:  The Doctor takes Rose to see the destruction of Earth in the year 5 billion and gets more then he bargained for.
E3--The Unquiet Dead:  On Rose and the Doctor's third adventure, they both go back in time to Victorian London and happen apon Charles Dickens and a ghost story.
E4--Aliens Of London:  Back in modern London, Rose realizes she has been gone a year instead of a day or two.  That's not the only problem though; aliens have apparently invaded the city!
*E5--Word War Three:  How will the Doctor and Rose stop the Slitheen from destroying the world?
E6--Dalek:  The much anticipated return of the Doctor Who's favorite villains!

E7--The Long Game:  Something is wrong in the year 200,000!  Will the Tardis Crew figure it out?
E8-- Fathers Day:  Rose goes back in time to meet her father and ends up almost destroying life as we know it.
*E9--The Empty Child:  In my opinion, this is the creepiest episode in season 1.  Watch it and sleep with all the lights on afterward!  Also introduces Captain Jack Harkness.

E10--The Doctor Dances:  A surprising conclusion to The Empty Child....
E11--Boom Town: The Slitheen are back and causing more trouble for the Doctor and Rose! 
*E12--Bad Wolf: The Doctor ends up on the future Big Brother and Rose on a killer quiz show.
E13--The Parting Of Ways:  The big finish!  Goodbye 9th Doctor. :(  Hello 10th!  :D
